In September 2019, Michael Pies joined VTR as Managing Partner. Michael Pies has been involved in reorganization and turnaround processes for more than twenty years, including more than fifteen years as Chief Restructuring Officer (CRO) and CFO in companies that were partly in transformation and crisis situations. He also held management positions in various renowned management consulting firms, focusing on the creation and implementation of operational restructuring and value-enhancing measures. The core mandates of Michael Pies include, in particular, PE funds and their portfolio companies.
